Old Orchard Beach Vacation Rental

Positive: Awesome staff, Ann was an absolute delight, and so much fun! See you next year same time!!

Disappointing Positive: Close to the piere. Walking distant to the piere! Private back yard area. Had potential but has definitely been used and worn out with no upkeep. Negative: When we booked we requested at 2pm check in (earliest available) so that my kids could have time in the pool. They wouldn't let us check in until 4 pm. By 4pm the sun had cooled off and it was too cold for my kids to use the pool. the cover had been left off the hot tub so that was cold and dirty. These 2 amenities WAS THE REASON WE BOOKED HERE. The kid's upstairs loft mattresses were not made, there was still food wraper trash around the mattress pads from previous guests. The mattress pads were cheap paper thin crib mattresses, my kids were extremely uncomfortable and we all got very little to no rest! We even questioned if our bedding had been cleaned since it was stained and there was a change of bedding left in the room. The window blinds were all broken from previous tenants peeking out (low privacy) and the upstairs loft window had no window curtain/blind. The sun woke everyone up at the crack of dawn. Thats a hell of a way to wake up on vacation- with the sun beaming in your face! The wifi was so slow we couldn't even stream any shows to watch. Would not recommend or return to this property. There is also a grill and firepit on property that was not disclosed so we came unprepared for that. The place has great potential with a private fenced off "yard" but lacks the actual cleanliness, quality and comfort. Also the umbrellas by the pool were all broken and falling over/un useable. Cleaning, window treatments, no wifi, this property is clearly reaping the income and not putting money into upkeep.

it was a nice quick stay and a very cute set up cottage with upstairs cozy two bed area for kids Positive: it was clean and had a closed off private yard with a grill, table & chairs and a hot tub Negative: One when I tried to contact the owners, I am not as tech savvy as many others these days and I didn't have access to my email that I used to book the cabin with, and when I asked what room i was in (i thought i remembered it but wanted to make sure) the text I received was look it up in your email..... come on how hard would it have been to tell me? i'm calling from the number I booked with then they used text to reply. There was a lady that was taking care of the motel and she was able to verify although she was the person cleaning. thankfully! Two the plugs/outlets were too big/loose for my charger block, it wasnt able to stay in unless I sat there holding it, i'd suggest that they get lamps at the bed side or outlets that have the plugs for the cords without needing a block to plug in so that its easy to charge phones/laptops ect.

Unbelievable value for the location and price, Jem! Positive: Great location, we we're so excited to enjoy the pool and our private hot tub and we're pleasantly surprised on arrival to see not only a clean hot tub but a huge private space with table, 4 chairs and small fire pit with wood and bbq grill with tools. The chalet had kitchen counter space, with all the amenities you'd need. Refrigerator, blender, mini fridge, silverware, etc. Rooms very clean and bright. The bathroom was clean, lots of hot water with large step in shower and a medicine cabinet generously providing everything from deodorant, soap and other toiletries. We had Everything we needed for a comfortable stay and staff was attentive and easy to reach with whatever we requested! Bed was comfy and clean as well. Negative: That we couldn't stay longer!

I will be definitely coming back here and recommend this place to anybody Positive: Everything I couldn’t complain and it’s close to the beach in downtown Negative: There was nothing not like it was a perfect vacation
